Poker Odds Calculator
A poker odds calculator tells you the probability of winning a hand based on the cards you can see. Instead of guessing whether your flush draw is worth calling, you know the exact percentage. Instead of estimating your equity against three opponents, you see the precise number.
Professional players use equity calculations in every decision they make. Should you call a bet on the turn? It depends on your pot odds versus your equity. Should you shove all-in preflop? It depends on your hand's equity against your opponent's range. A poker odds calculator turns these gut feelings into math.
How Handsight Calculates Poker Odds
Traditional poker calculators require you to type in every card manually. Handsight works differently. You point your phone camera at the poker table and the app detects every visible card using on-device AI. No internet connection is required. No manual input.
Once the cards are detected, Handsight runs a Monte Carlo simulation across thousands of random runouts to calculate each player's probability of winning, tying, or losing. The result is accurate equity for every player at the table, updated as each new card appears.
This approach handles the combinatorial explosion that makes poker math so difficult. In Texas Hold'em with two players, there are about 1.7 million possible runouts on the flop. In Omaha, that number grows exponentially. Monte Carlo simulation makes these calculations fast and practical.
Supported Poker Games
Handsight supports odds calculation for the three most popular poker formats. Each game has its own complexity, and Handsight handles all of them.
Texas Hold'em Odds Calculator
The world's most popular poker game. Two hole cards, five community cards, and infinite strategic depth. Handsight calculates your equity from preflop to river across up to 10 players.

Poker is a game of incomplete information and probabilities. Every decision you make (call, raise, or fold) should be informed by the math behind the hand. Here are the key concepts a poker odds calculator helps you understand:
- Equity: Your percentage chance of winning the pot at any given moment. If you have 60% equity, you expect to win the pot 60% of the time.
- Outs: The number of unseen cards that improve your hand. A flush draw has 9 outs. An open-ended straight draw has 8.
- Pot odds: The ratio of the current pot to the cost of calling a bet. If the pot is $100 and the bet is $20, you need at least 16.7% equity to call profitably.
- Expected value (EV): Whether a decision is profitable in the long run. Positive EV decisions make you money over thousands of hands.
Handsight vs. Manual Poker Calculators
Most poker odds calculators are web tools where you select cards from a virtual deck. They work, but they're slow. By the time you've entered all the cards, the hand has moved on. They also can't run during a live game without disrupting the flow.
Handsight solves both problems. Card detection is instant. Just point your camera and it works in real time during live games. Use it between hands to review what just happened, or during a hand if your table allows phone use. You can also save hands and review them later with full equity information.
